Nintendo Switch Review!

 ENGLISH      ESPAÑOL

My ultimate gaming wishes came true with the release of the Nintendo Switch. It allows gamers to play outside in a handheld style or see the bigger picture by connecting it to the t.v. Having arrived to me since March, I wanted to get a good feel and understanding of this console before getting to the nitty-gritty. When bought, the Nintendo Switch comes with the Nintendo Switch itself (duh), the Nintendo Switch dock (this connects to the t.v), joy con controllers, one joy con grip, joy con straps, a charger, and an HDMI cable.

SIZE:
With the joy cons attached to the sides, the Nintendo switch is 9.3 inches in length and 4 inches in height. This makes it easily portable for on-the-go moments. A carrying case and or/protective skin are highly recommended for preventing any damage while out and about. The Nintendo Switch dock is 7 inches in length and 4 inches in height. This takes up little to no space on a shelf which allows it to fit in perfectly with any other gaming systems.

GRAPHICS:
The console has a capacitive touch screen that is 6.2 inches in length with a 128Ox72O resolution. A nice touch is that you can take screenshot photos while you're playing a game by pressing a small button on the left joy con. As far as image quality goes, it delivers exceptional results for video games of any era. The classic arcade Metal Slug 3 keeps its original pixelated graphics while Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is seen with more advanced graphics. Whether old or new, the image quality is clean in each game.

GAMEPLAY:
Hands down, the best gaming system yet! Gameplay is limitless thanks to the diversity of the joy cons and screen. You can play using the t.v or just hold the console in your hands. Joy cons can be attached to the console, used individually like the wii and wiiU, or attached to more modern controller bodies like the joy con grip. It even comes with a small, built-in stand behind the screen that allows it to be placed on any flat surface while you play.
Amiibo figurines can be used to enhance gameplay through contact with the joy cons or joy con grip. The joy cons can be used for single or multiplayer games where each person controls one joy con. Depending on the game, the joy con on multiplayer mode can be used vertically or horizontally. The console can also be played for six hours with one charge, but this varies in accordance to the memory space and game. For example, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can be played for three hours on a full battery charge.

MEMORY SPACE:
The console comes with a 32GB memory storage but SD cards with more space can be purchased and installed. Like many modern consoles, the Nintendo Switch gives you the option of purchasing games through their online store (pre-installed in the console) or through a real store.

Nintendo definitely reached the stars with this console. Their future releases of both new and classic video games will only make this experience more exciting. If you love handheld gaming but also the classic connection to t.v, the Nintendo Switch is the console that delivers!
