NKLA.

NKLA (No Kill Los Angeles) are many animal welfare organizations that have chosen to collaborate in this project. There billboards and posters are seen all around the Los Angeles area and the Best Friends Animal Society is leading this movement forward. Their goals are to spay/neuter as many homeless animals, spread the word so that people can adopt, and provide enough food and care for treatable animals. Many healthy animals are put down because there is not enough money or space to keep them in shelters. The animals that might have small bite marks or curable infections are the first to get euthanized. What these organizations behind NKLA are trying to do is stop this from happening. They want to make sure that no animal has to be killed in Los Angeles shelters. People can volunteer and may also donate. For a donation of $10, they can buy a week load of food. Another way you can help is by adopting.

So go on and visit their website!
It's packed with information and you can even send them suggestions.
If you or someone you know has ever thought of adopting, now would be a great time to look into it with NKLA. Remember though, they are located in Los Angeles only.
